Summary

• Department: Oncology
• Shift Timing: 08:00 - 16:30 Hours 5 days 8 hours shift
• Per week: 40 hours
• 20 chair hospital based oncology outpatient clinic. We are open M-F 8-4:30, no nights, holidays or weekends. We provide infusion services such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, iron infusions, blood transfusions, hydration, electrolyte replacement, injections, port flushing and care. Agency RN would administer non-chemotherapy medications unless oncology certified. We are a fun group to work with, we all really care about our patients and each other.

Roles & Responsibilities

• ​Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
