Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and monitoring in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments
- Document patient medical information and nursing care
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention and post-hospital treatment
- Respond to medical emergencies

Roles & Responsibilities
*

• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

- Valid RN license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience in patient care, including telemetry monitoring
- Proficiency in specimen collection processing
- Knowledge of behavioral health, geriatrics, family planning, and pain management
- Familiarity with medical records management
- Ability to provide ostomy care

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.39 - $50.49 per hour
