Unity Hospice WI is Hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Near Casco, WI
Schedule4x a week,9-hour shifts, minimum every 4th weekend, on-call 1 shift every 5-6 weeks, 2 holidays per year
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN): As a Float Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical and case management based on the patient's diagnosis and end-of-life symptoms. You will complete initial, comprehensive, and updated assessments of patient and family needs. Report any significant changes to physicians and team members and provide consistent documentation while maintaining compliance with policies and regulations. Additionally, you will provide education to the patients and families, administer medication, and complete new admissions, all while providing supportive and compassionate care to patients and their families.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Of The Float Registered NurseBuild relationships with referral sources and organize referrals
Communicate with all interdisciplinary team members
Promote and maintain confidentiality
Maintain personal and professional boundaries
Maintain regular and reliable attendance
Shares in providing 24-hour, seven-day-a-week coverage
Prioritize daily work and make adjustments taking into account the needs of patients, Unity, and other staff.
Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of Unity.
Satisfy mandatory training requirements regarding local, state, and federal regulations and/or Unity’s policies and procedures.

RequirementsEducationAssociate’s degree in nursing required, Bachelor’s degree nursing preferred.
Certification/Registration/LicensureRN license in the state of practice required (RN must practice under the law and regulations governing nursing in the state of practice).
