St. Lukes Living Center West is Located in the Med Quater District of Cedar Rapids.We are a nursing home that offers long term, respite, hospice and skilled care. The Mainenance Supervisor provides routine maintenance and repair to the facility’s buildings, equipment and grounds. Insures a good work flow and coordinates maintenance and repair activities with functions of other departments. Resident satisfaction and meeting resident’s needs is a very important aspect of this position.

• Performs routine preventive maintenance and inspections
• Prioritize all work tasks
• Work with and maintain a good working relationship with all outside vendors.
• Lead emergency drills and acts as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
• Perform minor building and equipment repairs and maintains all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Assist during winter, with snow removal efforts.
• Attend all meetings, trainings, and routine inspections
• Oversee and manage the laundry and housekeeping departments
• Contributes to a positive, healthy and safe work environment.
