Are you a skilled Paramedic with a passion for cardiology and diagnostic testing? Join our growing cardiology team and play a vital role in conducting diagnostic tests and assisting in patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. In this role you will perform clinical assessments and diagnostic cardiology procedures, inclusive of medication administration, in accordance to clinic policy and procedure. Apply independent professional judgment to adapt the procedure plan to optimize examination results. Facilitate diagnostic cardiology patient care services inclusive of testing rendered in cardiopulmonary, ECHO, nuclear treadmill and procedure room. Draft procedural reporting for final physician interpretation. Initiate billing for procedures performed. Have a knowledge base of therapeutic medications and the effects of medical testing. Operate medical equipment including, but not limited to, treadmill systems, EKG machines, vital signs monitor, IV infusion pumps, nebulizer, glucometer, and defibrillator.

• Graduate of an accredited Paramedic Program with current professional licensure, State of Iowa.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a Paramedic, preferably with experience in cardiology or critical care settings.
• Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic procedures.
• Ability to interpret EKGs and recognize arrhythmias.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
