UnityPoint Clinic is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our Pulmonology Clinic. In this role, you will work closely with pulmonologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive respiratory care services to patients with various pulmonary disorders.

• Conduct thorough respiratory assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients with pulmonary conditions.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests (PFTs), arterial blood gas analysis, and pulse oximetry.
• Administer bronchodilators, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatment options, and self-management techniques.
• Provide respiratory therapy treatments including chest physiotherapy, nebulizer therapy, and incentive spirometry.
• Monitor patients during procedures and treatments, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR) systems

1. Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
2. Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of [Specify State].
3. Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
4. Strong knowledge of respiratory care principles, techniques, and equipment.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
7. Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
8. BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred.
