The Operations Manager is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operations of the customer location(s), including leading a team of Operations employees and managing the annual budget and operating plan.

* You will be leading the daily safe, efficient, legal, and economical operations of the different customer location sites* Facilitating compliance to corporate health, safety, and environmental affairs policies, including completion of scheduling, trainings, documentation, and record-keeping.
* Managing day-to-day work activities to ensure operational goals and objectives are met.
* Ensuring sure all employees have the required tools and training on safety, operation standards, and department goals.
* Helping to build a positive work environment and encouraging employee ownership of branch operations and performance.
* Leading interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating direct reports

* High School Diploma/GED required* Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
* 5-7 years of experience in Chemical Waste Operations
* Solid understanding of governmental requirements related to the chemical industry; i.e. OSHA, EPA, RCRA, DOT, etc. preferred or ability to attain such knowledge
* Leadership: ability to communicate with, support, and motivate others to achieve operational objectives
* Strong verbal /written communication skills
