Primary Purpose: The Sr Mgr Sales Operations will play a pivotal role in driving central initiatives that improve our commercial operations and ensure financial goals are understood and met. This role requires work flexibility, advanced analytical skills, and strong communication skills across multiple levels both internally and externally. The individual in this role will be a self-starter, adept at influencing others, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position is a critical part of the leadership team to manage the intricate details and process flows that result in clean operations and financial modeling for various workstreams within the line of business (sustainability, circularity, waste management, multiple other services).
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Cultivate actionable insights into organizational initiatives, proactively providing recommendations to craft future targets, goals and business needs
  • Capture market-driven, customer and supplier trends and incorporate them into forecasts and long-term plans
  • Ongoing assessment of the impact of sales programs on performance, refining strategies for efficiency and continuous business growth while maintaining transparency to performance accountability
  • Establish and uphold the consistency, reliability, and quality of standard reports
  • Act as cross-functional liaison between LOBs/ organizational units/ divisions to analyze and support decision making of growth and development opportunities
  • Deliver forecasting and budgeting as required by Sr Business Director and LOB Global President
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with emphasis in finance, business or data systems or a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
  • Experience in Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, Financial Analysis, Data Modeling, Business Analysis or a closely related field.
  • Basic knowledge of circular economics is a plus
  • Working knowledge of source systems (SAP, OneStream, BW/AO, salesforce.com) excel, master data (customer, material, and financial) and data flows across multiple systems.
  • Working knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, management reporting and analytics.
  • Financial modeling skills in excel and reporting skills in Tableau.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated eye for business
  • Ability to communicate clearly through written and oral communications
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization, influence leaders to change/adopt change, building trust and credibility quickly
