A multi-dsiciplined engineering firm is seeking an Engineering Field Technician to add to their Greenville, South Carolina branch location. This will be a full-time position responsible for various Construction Materials Testing, Special Inspections and/or Foundations tasks. Addition job responsibilities may include
It is preferred that candidates are familiar with performing field activities such as field density testing (Shelby tube and sand cone), material quantifications and concrete sampling and testing. Applicants must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic. Work schedule may include some weekends.
Ideal applicants will have 0-2 years of Construction Materials and/or Inspection experience combined with a Civil Engineering degree. Familiarity with ACI, ICC, NICET, NCDOT and/or SCDOT, Nuclear Gauge Certification a plus. Engineer in Training will be required for advancement opportunities into Project Management.
