Job Description
Required Skills/Experience
- Understanding of electrical theory, pneumatics/hydraulics
- Obtain parts for assembly, move to work area with fork lift or remote operated crane using chains and lifters, set piece in area or stand
- Attention to detail and quality focused.
- Must have some welding and pipe fitting experience
- Strong mechanical background in machine building
- Ability to read, visualize, and follow drawing, blue prints, and schematics
- Knowledge in the use of hand tools, power equipment and simple cutting tools
- Ability to accurately read measuring instruments (i.e. calipers, tapes, gauges, etc.)
- Must be able to prioritize multiple projects
- Self-motivated
Work Environment/physical demands:
- Shop environment
- Must be able to regularly lift loads of up to 50 pounds
- Work can be strenuous, and includes walking, climbing, kneeling, crawling, squatting, pulling (such as on torque wrenches) and assembling large components
Experience:
- Fabricating: 1 year (Preferred)
- Pipe Fitting Tube Fitting: 1 year (Preferred)
- Blueprint Reading: 1 year (Preferred)
