Universal Music Group is Hiring a Manager, Finance Near New York, NY
We are looking for a Manager to join our REPUBLIC Corps Finance department supporting our REPUBLIC Corps labels and business units.
How You’ll CREATE
- Assist finance leads with financial modeling and maintenance of forecast models within BPC
- Create and maintain reporting to help with review of monthly financials for accuracy including Balance Sheet, P&L & Cash Flow across business units utilizing SAP and HFM data
- Create and maintain artist and deal level P&Ls to assist senior management track investment performance in real time
- Assist in preparation of executive presentations in support of Actuals, Forecast and Plan
- Provide ad hoc analyses including enhancing models and reports as required
- Work closely with the other finance teams in addition to the North American team
- Minimum 3-5 years of financial planning & analysis, strategic planning, accounting and/or audit experience is required
- Experience with accounting and financial applications software; Hyperion Financial Management/Smartview Reporting, SAP and BPC planning experience/knowledge is required
- Demonstrable proficiency in the use of Excel with an emphasis on complex modelling, graphing and visual presentation
- CPA experience, preferred but not required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Great organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
- Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to quickly establish rapport with people across the business
- Music/entertainment industry experience highly preferred

Salary Range$62,400- $112,567
