Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Main contact for customer related quality topics during development and production phase.
• Maintain and manage quality assurance policies and procedures to meet customer and general quality standards.
• Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data.
• Initiate investigations into supplier quality issues and review supplier 8D reports.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
• Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
• Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by customers and external providers.
• Review and release PPAP for suppliers and to customers.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• 5 plus years of experience in quality. Experience in the Automotive Electronics industry highly desirable.
• Knowledge in QM-Systems, APQP and PPAP. Ideally in the automotive environment.
• Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience.
• Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel up to several days in a month including occasional international travel
• Thinks operationally and strategically, analyzes issues, uses sound judgment, generates new ideas/ goes beyond the status quo
