Universal Steel America Inc is Hiring a Sub Arc Welder - Night Shift Near Houston, TX

Job Title: Welder

Summary: Responsible for welding long seams and round seams on rolled cylinders by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties include the following.

  • Welds long seams and round seams on rolled cylinders.
  • FCAW, SAW, and Back Gouging experience required.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Some qualifications we are looking for is to be able to weld long seams, round seams, do repairs, efficient with minimal repairs, open root if necessary, on time and dependable. Education/Experience:

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme heat (non-weather).
