Serve as the primary media relations contact for men's basketball and other assigned sports. Act as the liaison between the athletic department and media, the general public, and the University community.Content Creation and Management: Ensure the timely and accurate dissemination of sports information via the Internet and social media platforms. Compile, edit, and produce sports media guides and other related publications as needed. Oversee and assist with the production of football and basketball television shows.Supervision and Training: Provide direct supervision to graduate and student interns. Offer media training, including interview strategies, for coaches, student-athletes, and staff to effectively communicate sports stories.Collaboration and Strategy: Collaborate with local, regional, and national media outlets to pitch and execute story ideas promoting the team and individual athletes.
