University Cancer & Blood Center is Hiring a Patient Care Coordinator-Floater Near Athens, GA
Job DescriptionUniversity Cancer & Blood Center is currently seeking to hire a full time Patient Care Coordinator. Hours for this position are M-F, 8 am - 5 pm. This position is based in Athen most days and traveling to the satellite locations to cover call outs and vacations. Paid mileage and travel time!
Job duties include:
Candidate must possess the following:
Job duties include:
- Scheduling patient appts
- Scheduling outpatient testing, such as: MRI, CT, Bone Scans, X-rays, etc
- Collecting any money due from patient that was not collected at check-in
- Scanning patient records into EMR
- Additional duties as assigned
- Travel to satellite offices to cover call outs and vacations
Candidate must possess the following:
- 2 or more years medical experience necessary
- Excellent computer skills a must
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Must be willing to travel in North Georgia
