Position Summary:

Assists and supports the histology and transcription staff with daily work assignments. Accurately and expediently sorts, accessions, performs data entry, files slides and requisitions. Will also accession as needed at our off-site facility. Work is performed under the supervision of the technical supervisor and histology tech.

· Slide/Requisition Filing

Education & Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Previous experience in a laboratory setting is preferable

· Working knowledge of computers is required

· Must be able to type 40 WPM with 90% accuracy
