Reporting to the Manager, Instructional Design, the Instructional Design Specialist is responsible for providing instructional design support for program and course development for Michener's in-person, online and hybrid environments.
This position requires a commitment to constructivist and learner-centered education. A service-oriented approach and commitment to meeting the diverse needs of faculty is a must. The incumbent should be well grounded in educational theory and design.
The incumbent must be responsive to current best-practices in health professions education and faculty development and demonstrate knowledge of evidence-based continuous quality improvement methods.
We are seeking a creative and ambitious individual who can support excellence in our design strategies across multiple projects and advance our use of learning technologies.
