POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
The Grants Financial Analyst is responsible for a variety of financial analysis functions as it relates to recurring monthly and quarterly operations, financial, budgeting and reporting activities for both internal and external grants and research-related purposes. Monitors the fiscal activities and budgets of Ryan White and HOPWA funded projects and ensures contractual compliance with the funding regulations of the appropriate funding source. Prepares and maintains fiscal and performance reports, forecasting plans and other financial documentation as required by the Management, the HIV-AIDs Planning Council, Federal, state and local funding sources. Documents and reviews current business processes and recommends enhancements and efficiencies. Conducts special projects and resolves complex operating and financial issues. Works with the grants, research and CareLink departments as well as with programmatic and budget staff to develop agreements, requests for proposals (RFPs), contracts and project documents.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration or related field required. Master’s degree is preferred. One year of experience in Finance/Accounting with grants and/or fund development is preferred. Working knowledge of grant funded program administration, budget administration, state and federal funding requirements, and Grant Management Systems is required.
