POSITION SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in minor maintenance, repairs, testing and inspection on fire alarm and sprinkler systems along with the checking of all types of fire extinguishers within University Health System (the Health System) buildings and facilities Helps different trades bypass and acknowledge fire alarm panels, annunciators along with maintaining and cleaning fire alarm devices.
Ensures safe, competent, efficient, and timely performance of assigned tasks. Cares for and uses materials, supplies, tools, and equipment properly.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Reading, interpreting and applying plans, specifications, blueprints, schematics, codes and work orders is a good quality to possess but not necessary.
