Operates ultrasound equipment in order to produce high quality diagnostic images for procedures. Performs assigned duties promptly and efficiently. Complies with instructions from the immediate supervisor and/or radiologist in charge. Maintains a good working relationship with co-workers and University Health’s employees, patients, doctors and guests. Promotes the UH guest program.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Registry from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Sonography (R.T.-S.) or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and hold current Certified BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) from the American Heart Association is required, and/or must be eligible to acquire the ARDMS or Ultrasound Registry (ARRT-S) with registry acquisition within one year. One-year ultrasound experience is preferred.
