What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Teacher position at University High School of Indiana?
University High School of Indiana seeks dynamic teachers to teach summer enrichment camps to elementary and middle school students during the summer of 2024. These camps tend to be week long half-day courses, from 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm. The teacher will have the freedom to develop content/curriculum for a camp that would appeal to this age level.
Summer Camp Teacher Job Responsibilities:
- Plans, leads, and implements camps for children grades 1-8.
- Provides high-quality educational opportunities and enjoyable experiences for participants.
- Supervises students and ensures their safety, development, growth, skill achievement, and general well-being.
- Maintains a schedule for participants.
- Facilitates and creates lesson plans for daily activities.
- Assists in maintaining accurate program records, including check-in and check-out of students and daily attendance.
- Knows and understands all emergency procedures and safety guidelines associated with the school.
