The primary purpose of the Clinical Pharmacist Specialist (Infectious Disease) position is to promotethe optimal use of anti-microbial agents throughout University Hospital to optimize patient outcomes by providing evidence-based directpatient care as a member of interdisciplinary team or as an independent clinician.
Candidate must possess a Pharm. D. degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy. ASHP Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent ispreferred. A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a licensed hospital pharmacist with enhanced clinical responsibilities is preferred.
Credential required: Pharm. D., Registered Pharmacist, licensed in the State of NJPrimary source verification: NJ Division of Consumer Affairs, Board of Pharmacy,University Hospital's designated Background Check Company
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Position requires use of hands and fingers, talking and hearing over 2/3 of time, standing and walking up to 2/3 ofthe time. Position requires lifting under 1/3 of the time. Close and color vision required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Position requires exposures to toxic or caustic chemicals under 1/3 of the time. Moderate noise environment inoffice setting
