Work Site And Opportunity HighlightsUniversity Hospitals seeks a Hospitalist leader to join our Samaritan Medical Center in Ashland, OH as the Medical Director for the Samaritan Hospital Medicine Group (HMG). As Medical Director, work closely with local hospital and system leadership to ensure all aspects of the HMG run efficiently.
  • Protected time for administrative management of the group
  • Clinical Schedule is one week on, one week off. During the work week, physicians are expected to work a twelve hour shift.
  • Fourteen PTO days, in addition to every other week off
  • Additional productivity incentives
  • Potential for career development and advancement within a large healthcare organization
QualificationsQualifications
  • Board-certified or Board-eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician
  • Active Ohio Medical License in good standing upon effective date of employment
  • Experience leading healthcare teams
  • Must be skilled and provide evidence of proficiency in procedures associated with hospital medicine
