DescriptionPosition SummaryThe Physician Assistant (PA) is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by a PA as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws. Essential Functions

QualificationsQualificationsEducation
Master’s Degree from an accredited PA educational program Required
Other Accredited Program Graduate completion from an accredited Surgical Assistant Program. Required
Work Experience
1 years as a PA Preferred

Demonstrated leadership skills. Required
Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships. Required
Computer skills to access patient medical data from UHHS mainframe. Required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook. Required
Demonstrated skills in related to Informatics Technology. Required
Licenses and Certifications
Physician Assistant (PA) Required and
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required and
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
Additional Licenses And Certifications
Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination Required and
Practice with a supervising physician Required and
