Parma CVICU has been working diligently to expand our services for our growing patient population. We have a 14 bed critical care unit compiled of cardiac surgery, cardiology, vascular, thoracic, and medical intensive care patients. What makes us unique is our 24/7 intensivist coverage, our open heart navigator that follows patients through the entire perioperative experience of cardiac surgery, and two specialized Nurse Practitioners that assist nurses and physicians in meeting core quality measures and optimal patient outcomes. Sign on Bonus: $6,000

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care. Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes. Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations. Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing. Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes. ACLS/PALS may be required based on clinical area standards.

Qualifications

Thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice. Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies (i.e. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices.

Shift: Fulltime Nights

$6K sign-on Bonus offered to RN’s with 1 years’ experience.

1 year RN experience preferred.

Education Required:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from accredited program preferred.

Minimum of Diploma/Associate’s Degree in nursing from accredited program.

License Requirements:

Registered nurse with current license to practice in the State of Ohio.

Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, or must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
