The Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame is home to more than 2,200 undergraduate and 900 graduate students in 14 highly ranked academic programs.
The Director of Finance oversees all financial matters for the Mendoza College of Business. Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations and working closely with the Dean and other College leaders, this position leads all aspects of budgeting, planning, and analysis in the operational and strategic financial management of the College.
This position will:
  • Oversee all budgeting, financial planning, financial analysis, accounting, financial reporting, and management of financial risk for the College.
  • Lead the Mendoza Finance team and work collaboratively with leaders across the College, including Department Chairs, Associate Deans, Academic Directors and Functional Directors, as well as the University, especially the offices of the Finance Division (Budget & Financial Planning, Controller, Treasury, Procurement Services, Real Estate), Development, Audit & Advisory Services and the Provost Office.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree
    • Business degree or commensurate work experience
    • 7 years relevant experience
    • Extensive experience leading in complex financial environments, including the development of sophisticated reporting tools and profit and loss (P&L) statements
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience using Notre Dames financial systems and processes
    • Experience preparing profit and loss statements
