The University of Notre Dame is accepting applications for the position of a Maintenance Technician at the Land O' Lakes property, located on the border of Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula. This property of 7,000 heavily-wooded acres with roughly 30 lakes serves as a home for our undergraduate students and a hub for cutting-edge research programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance tasks across various skill sets, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
  • Utilize modern equipment and tools to ensure tasks are performed safely and efficiently.
  • Operate a chainsaw and work confidently on and around water.
  • Conduct inspections, repairs, and installations as needed.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete assignments.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Proficient in basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
  • Skilled in moderate automotive, heavy equipment, and small engine maintenance.
  • Effective team player with the ability to independently complete tasks when necessary.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Valid drivers license required.
