General Responsibilities
- To serve as a liaison with medical staff, University Departments, ancillary departments and/or satellite facilities.
- To organize patient enrollment planning.
- To conduct quality assurance activities.
- To compile and analyze data.
- To develop and implement procedures, maintain records, track progress, and conduct quality assurance on data collected.
- To serve as a mentor to junior staff, including student assistants.
- Collects and records data for NIH and other funded studies.
- Recruits and performs follow-up with research participants as protocols outline.
- Schedules visits according to research protocols.
- Assists in the coordination of lab and fieldwork.
- Maintains familiarity with appropriate Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement. Preferences
- Ability to operate various office machines including printers, computers, and various software packages.
- Past CRC experience preferred.
- MVR required
- Interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
