Additional Information:
Maintains required audits for credentialing. Engages in appropriate continuing education programs, maintain mandatory competencies, medical center computer based learning modules, and health monitoring services. Participates in institutional initiatives and encourages the participation of others. Collaborates in policy and program development, implementation, and evaluation using best practices in delivering quality service. Coordinates the multidisciplinary care of patients, facilitating all necessary consults, assuring that care is timely and appropriate. Actively engage in service line meetings and take an approach to health care that shapes policies, programs, facility design, and day-to-day interactions Provides healthcare services to patients which may include: comprehensive care during acute and chronic episodes of injury and illness, follow up care during post-hospital clinic appointments, education and counseling of families, health promotion and prevention, and referral to other health care providers and community resources when appropriate. Works autonomously, as well as, in collaboration with a variety of disciplines to diagnose and manage health care problems; will serve as a health care resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate. Communicates and shares complete and unbiased information, assuring their colleagues receive timely, complete, and accurate information in order make informed decisions.Salary Information:
