Minimum Qualifications:
High School, GED Plus One (1) year experience as phlebotomist OR completion of UAMS Phlebotomy program
Excellent communication skills, basic computer skills, strong work ethics and accountability
Ability to Follow Oral Instruction, Read and Write
Preferred Qualifications:
Phlebotomy Certificate
Experience in an ambulatory care setting
Additional Information:
Responsibilities:
Uses venipuncture to obtain blood specimens from patients
Performs various testing procedures according to established laboratory procedures
Prepares urine and stool samples for laboratory processing
Monitors and maintains adequate amount of patient care supply inventory
Serves as a resource for the department
P erforms other duties as assigned
