https://walton.uark.edu/Summary of Job Duties:The Administrative Support Supervisor is responsible for managing the Economics Departmental office and assisting the department chair. This includes supervision of hourly/work-study students, departmental budgets/reports, travel, HCM and financial transactions in Workday, and faculty and student support.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • The formal education of a high school diploma

  • Evidence of experience in administrative support, including one year in a supervisory or leadership capacity

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least one year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field

  • Higher education experience

  • Experience using Workday (HCM and Finance)

  • UAConnect experience with non-student access

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Exceptional customer service skills and proven experience

  • Strong English written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to self-manage projects

  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously
