Summary of Job Duties:The Financial Aid Specialist provides support to the financial aid initiatives at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff to include, but not limited to, communications, report processing, FAFSA imports, work-study and special projects. This position functions additionally as a resource to internal and external customers through telephone and written communications. Other related duties will be assigned.Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's degree

Other equivalencies may be considered

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 2 year' experience working in an office environment

One year specialized training in business or related field

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (with emphasis on Word and Excel)

Highly skilled in general computer use and software applications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • General knowledge of financial aid programs
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Skilled in use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently

$31,000 - $32,500
