Under the direction of the Associate Dean for Academics, the Director of Curriculum will be the content expert with oversight of the School's Curriculum and Technology Team for all SON academic programs, currently including PhD, FNP-MS, MEPN, MHS-PA programs. The Director of Curriculum is responsible for overseeing all operational components necessary to support the students and faculty, deliver the curriculum, and evaluate new and existing programs. This role is a member of the SON management team who collaborate to achieve the mission of the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing to create healthy systems and healthy people. This role will serve as the director for day to day operations as well as a partner with the Associate Dean for Academics for implementing new programs.This role includes management to track and oversee team project deliverables, complex course scheduling, and implementation for education operations. The Curriculum Operations Manager responds through verbal and/or written communication to a wide variety of inquiries regarding the School of Nursing. Incumbent for the position will be responsible for researching issues and initiating an array of correspondence in support of the faculty and students, applying problem-solving techniques to resolve various situations.This position requires strong interpersonal skills to interact diplomatically with a diverse group of people including faculty, staff, students and SON leadership. . The incumbent is expected to utilize initiative, judgment, and discretion in providing leadership to staff in responding to a wide variety of complex needs and project issues.
