PHYSICAL DEMANDS WORK ENVIRONMENT
- UC Davis is a smoke and tobacco free campus effective January 1, 2014. Smoking, the use of smokeless tobacco products, and the use of unregulated nicotine products (e-cigarettes) will be strictly prohibited on any UC Davis owned or leased property, indoors and outdoors, including parking lots and residential space.
- Complete and pass the National Collegiate Athletic Association Recruiting Examination per NCAA bylaw 13.1.2 (Permissible Recruiting) before recruiting.
- Current CPR & First Aid certification or must obtain within 30 days from date of hire and certified bi-annually.
- Position will participate in the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Pull Notice System.
- In accordance with UC Davis Athletics’ hiring process for coaches, UC Davis will require any head coach or assistant coach final candidate(s) to sign an authorization for a reference check. Pursuant to your signed authorization form, we will inquire with your prior institution(s) about any records of substantiated misconduct
- High School Graduation or Equivalent
- Collegiate coaching and playing experience in the sport of women’s soccer.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of the rules and strategies of women’s soccer. This includes, but is not limited to, teaching techniques, coaching strategies and safety measures that are necessary for the UC Davis student-athlete to compete at the collegiate level.
- Ability to learn the complex policies and procedures regarding academic eligibility of UC Davis student-athletes. These include UC Davis, conference and the National Collegiate Athletic Association policies and procedures.
