University of California - Los Angeles Health is Hiring an Insomnia Therapist - Pulmonology/Sleep Clinic, Santa Monica Near Santa Monica, CA

Description

In this position, you will work under theChief of Sleep Medicine providing cognitive behavior therapy and functioning as a trans-disciplinary team member ofthe Department of Medicine Sleep Program that provides insomnia treatment using cognitive behaviortherapy. You will also provide clinical assessments and recommendations, assess and counsel patients andprovides case-management.

Salary range: $9858.15-$13005.36 Monthly

Qualifications

Required:

  • PhD in Clinical Psychology from APA approved program.
  • APA Approved Clinical Psychology Internship.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a CBT-I provider.
  • Experience with insomnia patients.
  • Experience in providing psychological clinical services to patients with acute or chronic medical problems and their families.
  • Experience in individual, family and in-group psychotherapy.
  • Experience in developing and presenting psychoeducational materials and in making group presentations.
  • Experience in clinical and educational writing.
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws and legal requirements.
  • Experience in providing clinical supervision.
  • Strong computer skills including word processing, e-mail systems, spreadsheets and electronic medical records.
  • Able to work and practice professional relationships with other therapists, medical personnel and patients.
  • Collaborative, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally (in person or by video or phone) and in writing.
  • Travel to other clinic practices as needed.

Highly Desired:

  • Experience in providing psychological clinical services to patients with gender dysphoria.
