As the Radiology Receptionist (Administrative Assistant III) you will work as Receptionist, ImageLibrarian Assistant and Scheduling Coordinator. You are responsible for afull complement of Radiology front-end processes including Reception, ImageLibrary, Onsite Scheduling, rescheduling and canceling appointments.

• Reception duties include the registration/arrival of patients; obtain clinical information pertinent to the scheduled exams; collect cash/insurance and authorization information.
• Digital Librarian duties include digitization of hardcopy images; create hardcopy and/or CDs of images; retrieve comparison studies; uploading cd's and processing LILA's, uploading and process outside CD's, processing ROI's and answering phones.
• Scheduling duties are as required for add-on, rescheduled, cancelled and follow-up appointments.

You will be expected to float between the Western Region Radiologysites: Beach Imaging, Manhattan Beach Imaging, Barbara Kort Imaging, SantaMonica Ortho Imaging Clinic and Spine Center and additional Clinics whenconstruction is complete. Must be flexible to cover nights and weekends andholidays. This role is to provide Reception support for our Western RegionClinics for vacation coverage, unexpected absences and short term leave ofabsence support.

Salary Range: $2.42 - $42.14 Hourly

*At least 2 Years of experience in a RadiologyDepartment - strongly preferred

*Experience with EPIC, HIS, RIS, iCAP, GEComponent - strongly preferred

*Strong working knowledge of personal computers,PACSCUBE CD Burner, Array Digitizer - strongly preferred

*Ability to handle confidentiality issues withtact and diplomacy

*Medical terminology to a level permittingaccurate preparation of scheduling patient procedures interacting withphysicians, patients and staff

*Skill in quickly assimilating and retaining alarge body of financial screening and patient registration information

*Working knowledge of hospital/billing forms andthe ability to explain services and charges to patients and/or family
