As theRegulatory Coordinator, you work involves staffing, administering or managingresearch oversight and compliance committee activities related to researchactivities such as human subjects, animal use and care, conflict of interestand export control. Reviews research protocols for use in specific fields,assists in writing and reviewing protocols, and compliance with federal, state,and University mandated laws, regulations and policies.
Hourly Salary Range: $28.78- $59.34
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in related area and / orequivalent experience / training
- Independence, planning and decision-makingabilities to complete assigned duties
- Knowledge of relevant Federal and Stateregulations, and policies
- Ability to solve problems, issues; listen,interpret and confirm understanding of others' communications; and be objective
- Effective, efficient, and tactful oral andwritten communication skills
- Time management skills and the flexibility toaccommodate changing priorities in unit
- Ability to work in a team oriented setting, toprioritize work, and to follow through on routine assignments with minimaldirection
- Proficiency with computers, including theability to operate personal computer software with sophisticated retrieval,storage, and merging capabilities
- Excellent customer service skills, pleasant,helpful and patient
- Strong organizational skills, the ability tomulti-task, and work with frequent interruptions
