Job Summary
Supervises clinic operations for the UCSF Pediatric Primary Care, Acute Care Clinics at Mount Zion, and the Adolescent and Young Adult Clinic at Pritzker. Subordinates include staff involved with professional operational functions.
Oversight of administrative areas such as practice revenue management, billing systems and procedures, facilities and safety procedures, registration, new patient coordination, scheduling, medical records storage and maintenance, and insurance authorizations. May also supervise patient support staff, such as medical assistants or LVNs, in coordination with the nursing lead.The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Department Description
Pediatric Primary Care and Acute Practice is located at the Mount Zion Campus. Serving patients from newborn to adolescence. Our doctors and nurses provide routine preventive care - including checkups, vaccinations, vision, and hearing screenings - and diagnose and treat the many minor illnesses and injuries kids experience. The team works with families to help manage chronic conditions and provide referrals to a pediatric specialist when needed.
