The Finance Manager for Regional Campuses and Expansion Programs reports directly to the Director, Budget & Resource Planning at UCSF SOM Dean’s Office and serves as a key member of the team in the Financial Affairs Unit of the UCSF School of Medicine’s (SOM’s) Dean’s Office. This position requires experience in finance and financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and strategic planning, using professional knowledge and subject matter expertise to navigate through multiple systems and resolve complex issues with organization-wide impact in creative and effective ways and exercising judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. In many circumstances, the Finance Manager works on complex issues with little or no precedent where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. This position must demonstrate strong abilities in leading change management activities in a complex, matrixed organization environment. The Finance Manager will coordinate all efforts related to finances for the SJV PRIME Program across three UC campuses and work directly with leadership at UCSF Main Campus, Fresno Vice Dean’s Office, and UC Merced EVCP office and the Department of Medical Education.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $136,000 - $222,100 (Annual Rate).
