Job Summary
Dr. Nicole Bush has the need for one part-time position (50%), for a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) on her research projects. The CRC will be supervised by Dr. Bush.
The Infant Development and the Environment Study (TIDES) is a multi-site longitudinal study funded by the NIH following pregnant women and their offspring designed to investigate the impact of social and environmental chemical exposures on child development and health. This individual will support research activities with the TIDES cohort and serve in the role as the TIDES multisite study, San Francisco study site research activities coordinator, and will be supervised by Dr. Bush (UCSF Site PI).
They will conduct a variety of research tasks to support the study and team, including calling already-enrolled study families to schedule follow-up research visits, arranging for shipment of materials to families before and return of materials after study visits, and managing participant gift card reimbursement. They will complete data entry, organization of physical data and forms, supplies ordering and inventory, administrative tasks, and attending research meetings. They will also work closely with the other study coordinator to conduct research participant assessments, including consenting, collecting questionnaires from participants, helping the coordinator to complete bodily measurements (height, weight) and sample collection (saliva and urine samples). They will also operate the study computers to input and monitor data collection during study tasks. They will also arrange pediatric blood draws and specimen processing with the UCSF PCRC and escort families to the PCRC to complete that component of the study with that nursing team. They will also have responsibility for ensuring proper storage of biospecimens and coordination of specimen shipments to study labs and repositories.
This part-time position is expected to last through the end of the the funded award, which ends in 2027.

Please note: An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.
