University of California is Hiring a Grant Manager Support Analyst Near San Francisco, CA

Full TimeDays8 Hours M-F, 40 hours/week (hybrid)

IGHS is seeking a Grant Management Support Analyst (FRS Support) to provide pre- and post- award support to the IGHS Grant Managers. This position will provide support to all IGHS funded projects. Responsibilities include: monthly download of general ledgers and updating projections; initiate payroll changes and payroll transfers via UCPath; maintain databases; transfer budgets to updated budget templates throughout the project year; assist with reconciling vendor and subcontract invoicing; assist with submitting and following up on vendor and subcontract payments; set up Subaward Request Forms; assist with reconciling expenses purchased with University high value unrestricted procurement cards; monitor establishment of and payments to subcontracts and vendors; assist in maintaining all documents saved on the server in an organized fashion; biosketch and other support updates and formatting; other duties as assigned. Post-award responsibilities involve an overall standard of quality assurance in financial administration, budget allocations and expenditures for both core and subawards and to ensure adherence to contractual requirements and policies to maintain University best practices.
Strong candidates will be service oriented team players with good communication skills and attention to detail, experience working with international projects funded through federal and non-federal grants and contracts – preferably in an academic setting, with excellent time management, problem solving skills, and willingness and ability to be flexible and adjust to new projects and priorities as they arise.
This position is hybrid with the expectation of coming to the office at Mission Hall at least two days a week with the flexibility to come in more often as needed. Interested applicants should submit a cover letter along with a CV. Applications missing a cover letter will not be reviewed.

For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
