The International Program Coordinator provides administrative and program support for a large and growing research program within the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI). They provide administrative coordination for a cross-national research capacity building program in East Africa, including coordinating regular multi-site video conferences, developing protocols and manuals, facilitating ethics submissions, maintaining study documents, providing guidance to investigators and managers in developing job descriptions at each site, and monitoring overall progress towards established goals. This person is also responsible for compiling materials for new subcontracts and subcontract amendments, monitoring invoicing, contributing to progress reports, coordinating multi-national research committees, and planning the annual in-person meeting of researchers. Additionally, the International Program Coordinator assists the investigators and program manager with development of new grant proposals, including liaising with UCSFs pre-award team, preparing budgets and budget justifications, managing submission timelines, and preparing IRB and administrative documents for the grant submission. The International Program Coordinator works in a mission-driven work environment and is adept at managing multiple competing priorities. As part of a team coordinating a number of projects, they may also be asked to support studies based in other regions of the world, including Latin America, as needed. International travel to East Africa is expected.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $29.05 - $53.50 (Hourly Rate).
