Job Summary
Under general supervision of the UC Center Sacramento Director and Associate Director, the UC Center Sacramento Advising and Outreach Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and delivering student advising and outreach across a broad portfolio of academic, experiential, and co- / extra-curricular learning opportunities within UC Center Sacramento, in addition to supporting all other areas within UC Center Sacramento, a UC system-wide experiential learning program.
As part of a team, engage with and expand the UC Center Sacramento system-wide advising network for more inclusive outreach, provide equitable and outcomes-driven advising to help all students achieve their learning objectives, and design and administer a wide range of outreach, marketing and educational activities, including fairs, large scale events, virtual and hybrid sessions, workshops, and peer- and other direct and indirect advising efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

Department Overview
UC Center Sacramento (UCCS) is a UC system-wide experiential learning program that advances the University's mission of teaching, research, and public service with an integrated program to train future state leaders, to address challenging public policy issues confronted by the nation and state, and to carry out the University's mandate to assist state government.
UCCS provides students with an opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of California's public policy challenges and processes.
The program includes coursework as well as professional experience while living, interning, and attending classes in Sacramento.
