We are looking for a detail-oriented, process-focused, technically-savvy, self-starting candidate to fill the role of Business Intelligence Data Analyst. The successful candidate will have knowledge of data systems and modeling, dashboard and report building, and business impact analysis. They will play an important role in helping to take our BI team to the next stage of growth.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret data to support decision-making at all levels throughout the organization.
  • Work closely with teams across the company on deploying new internal tools and technologies that facilitate better information gathering and analysis capabilities.
  • Design, build, deploy, test, and document BI reporting projects.
  • Proactively work with stakeholders to identify new opportunities leveraging existing or new technology solutions.
  • Analyze complex business problems using data analytics techniques such as descriptive stats, predictive modeling etc., to drive organizational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams within the organization in order to develop high quality BI solutions on time and accurately.
  • Help the BI team develop processes, policies, best practices, and documentation.
  • Participate in a BI Committee of cross departmental stakeholders (representing development, risk, finance, revOps, and others) to develop data strategy and governance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Business or a related field or its equivalent in experience required.
  • 3 years of hands-on experience in analyzing data sets and developing complex reports and dashboards within a business intelligence environment required.
  • Experience programming in SQL databases & scripting language(s) such as T-SQL and Python; experience with ETL tools is a plus.
  • Highly developed analytical skills; must be able to identify patterns from raw data sets quickly and accurately interpret implications from trends identified via quantitative analysis processes.
  • Understanding of database architecture principles (relational databases).
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Mode, Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
