Job Summary: | The Health Educator & Prevention Specialist will work with the Adolescent Family Planning Program (BC4U) and Aurora Public Schools (APS), both of which are committed to offering comprehensive sexual health education to all youth throughout the State of Colorado. This is an exciting role, and the final candidate will have the opportunity to lend an innovative lens to how it operates and works amongst the two organizations/programs. The Health Educator & Prevention Specialist will partner closely with BC4U's Director of Program Development, Clinic Medical Director, and Program Manager to understand BC4U's clinical services, outreach models and in-clinic workflows to inform their work at APSwith APS Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) focused on health. Please note, this position is entirely grant/philanthropically funded, and has been for several years; however, if there is an unexpected substantial reduction in funding, or funding ceases, this position may be terminated. Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range for this position has been established as $56,556 - $71,939 and will be pro-rated to a .5FTE The above salary range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
