Pay: Generally $50 per contact hour, plus differential for night shifts. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications. This position has been determined to be exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Summary:The Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure track positions will be made. Appointments are part-time (less than 50% time) and will be made semester-by-semester.The position is responsible for teaching and supervising a clinical group of students at the clinical sites for the Department of Nursing. Specialties include Medical-Surgical, Pediatric (Skills lab/Simulation labs only), Maternal Child Care, Mental Health and Public Health.

The college currently serves ~1400 students (80% undergraduate and 20% graduate) through its programs in the Department of Nursing, the Department of Health Sciences, and the Department of Human Physiology and Nutrition.

- Active, non-encumbered Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) or Colorado RN license
- Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in the area of nursing specialty
- Previous academic teaching experience
