At UConn Health, this position will cover departmental staffing needs, including summer vacations, weekends, and holidays. This is a temporary Pharmacy Student position with no benefits.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:

Must currently be a college level Pharmacy Student enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy program.

Must be available to work a minimum of one (1) weekend per month year round.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must provide proof of student status upon hire. Acceptable documentation includes either a letter from academic advisor on letterhead; or a course schedule listing current term of enrollment, name of educational institute and student's name.

Must have a current Pharmacy Intern license in the State of CT through Department of Consumer Protection.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

The student prepares and distributes medications under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist.

SCHEDULE:

Primarily day and evening shifts between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m., winter and summer school break obligations. A minimum of 1 weekend per month coverage is required.

HOURLY PAY:

$20.00/hour, no benefits.
