Job Description:Lead Trainer
Delivery
Serve as a lead in-house trainer for transportation courses
Prepare and conduct technical training programs
Assist Program Manager with implementing the online and in-person training
Deliver training online or in-person after completion of trainer certification
Development
Organize, develop, or source training programs to enhance current T2 Center course offerings
Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods, including classroom instruction, webinar, virtual training, on-the-job coaching
Assess training needs and certification requirements
Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills
Evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology
Program Management
Manage daily operations of the Transportation Training Program, including training budget, in-house training facilities and equipment, and client records
Budget development, tracking, and management for each training class
Schedule training programs
Coordinate off-site training activities
Handle logistics for training activities including venues and equipment
Reporting and Outcomes
Provide feedback to program participants and management
Track and report training outcomes
Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness
Support development of grant deliverables related to training delivery
Develop procedures for reviewing existing T2 transportation training programs as well as creating new programs and secures funding for such programs.
Outreach
Establish and maintain relationships with external instructors, customers and grant stakeholders
Establish connections with private and public entities to host exclusive courses
Inform customers about training options.
Positively resolve customer-service and problems.
Represent T2 at professional conferences and meetings.
Deliver presentations at meetings and conferences to promote T2 trainings and projects
$65,000-$70,000; commensurate with qualifications and experience
Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree in civil engineering, transportation, traffic safety or other related field.
Minimum of two years of direct experience in a related field.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to be proactive and take initiative with limited supervision.
Strong experience in teaching and delivering training courses in-person and online.
Excellent customer service skills and professionalism.
