Job Opening Summary

The incumbent is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care for patients of Shands Hospital and the University of Florida clinics. The incumbent will rotate duties between the Shands outpatient and Medical plaza pharmacies and must exercise professional judgment in evaluating all medication orders written for ambulatory patients.

Job Opening Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Graduation from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy.
• Experience in ambulatory practice and knowledge of insurance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to operate a computer and interact in a clinic environment.
• PharmD and knowledge of a clinic specialty a plus.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Registered pharmacist in the state of Florida.

Minimum Pay Rate - Hourly: $46.17 Midpoint Pay Rate - Hourly: $62.43
