Description: Department of Radiology is looking for someone to perform business, financial and/or administrative duties within the Departments of Radiology
Job Type: This position is a 900 hour term with an opportunity to convert to a permanent status
Work Schedule: 37.5 hours/week, Mon-Fri
Job duties:
Facilitates the delivery and evaluation of complex financial data management, withthe ability to identify and resolve problems.
Track, compare, analyze, and report all financial data and recommend actions to theAssistant Director.
Compile financial data in easy to read format and provide basic analysis to theresearch administrator on a regular basis.
Investigate and reconcile any issue related to the monthly financial reports.
Prepare and monitor research grant and startup research packages on a regularbasis and reconcile them on a monthly basis.
Assist with preparing and presenting annual financial budget and forecast for thedepartment
Use governmental accounting principles and GAAP accounting principles to assist inpreparation of clinical, research and education budgets.
Oversee purchasing operations for the department.
Oversee purchasing operations for the department.
Acts as a liaison for major unit-wide operations such as finance, purchasing andbudgeting.
Prepare, submit and manage reimbursement process for employees, outsidevendors and others.
Develop standard operating processes (SOP) for all the tasks assigned.
Requirements:
1.Any one, or any combination, of the following types of preparation:
(a)credit for college training leading to a major in accounting, business administration,
finance, computer science, or closely related fields
(b)progressively responsible experience that provided a knowledge of generallyaccepted principles, theories, and practices used in budgeting, accounting, and theanalysis of fiscal operations that would assure the applicant’s overall ability toundertake professional budgeting work at the entry level. Such experience must beevaluated on the basis of its comparability to a normal curriculum in the academicprograms listed in "a," taking into account the relationship of the experience to thecontent of the courses in the curriculum.* 120 semester hours (or a Bachelor’sdegree) in "a" = 1.0 unit
